Unquestionably one of Australia's hardest working, full time touring Australian Troubadours. Described as an indelible, lofty acoustic guitar driven songwriter. Detailed lyric's, memorable stories and noteworthy guitar playing.
Currently touring "Head Towards The Sun" his fourth studio album which boasts a rich intimate focus on voice and a raft of witty narratives. Born, more so in this album, then previous releases is the uncluttered presence of a band. Instead, there is a rootsy and very grounded bed of music played by himself and the co-producer/ engineer Mark Myers (The Starry Field).
Touring full time and driving an average of 20,000km to promote each album, living full time in a tour bus, visiting regional and urban Australia to promote music to a very personalised fan base.
A great deal of his song content is extracted from a cross section of Australian demographic's in its natural and Urban landscape. Songs reeling with character struggle, escape, fact, hope, displacement and recovery.
With accolades to have played for "Prince William of the Royal family" and support act for acclaimed international touring acts Gomez, Donovan Frankenreiter, Harry Manx, The Railsplitters and Australia's own Hat Fitz & Cara, Angus and Julia Stone, Ash Grunwauld, Jeff Martin (The Tea Party), Neil Murray, The Basics, Skinny Jean Band, Thelma Plum and so on.
Playing custom built acoustic guitars by Jim Newman of Bonny Hills, NSW and of course a vintage Eston resonator imported from Europe by Antonio Lamberti in the seventies.

Music by my own definition is "painting invisible pictures using sound". A music career identified as "one of many goals in the process of making great music". I'm not overly romanced by the fame of others but more so inspired by the success of great musicians like Jeff Lang, Steve Kilbey, Bruce Cockburn, Paul Westerburg, Harry Manx, Paul Dempsey, Jeff Tweedy and others who have mastered their song craft and instruments.
